Rabbi Asher Crispe—

Rabbi Asher Crispe is the Chief Technology Officer of Link Capital Group, a new Hedge Fund that deals with emergent technologies and future trends. He is also the Director of the Institute for Jewish Thought and Culture, an independent non-profit organization celebrating Jewish accomplishment in the arts and sciences. A doctoral student at New York University in Philosophy of Religion, Rabbi Crispe is a warm and engaging speaker whose talent is taking the esoteric and often inaccessible texts and concepts of Kabbalah and Chassidic philosophy and making them palpable and understandable to the general public. While living abroad, he spent a year as a research fellow for Mercaz Shalem, the national policy institute for public policy and social thought in Israel. He has also been a guest lecturer at numerous Torah centers and universities, both in Israel and abroad, and has appeared both on television and radio programs. He specializes in teaching week-long seminars in the arts and sciences as seen through the lens of the Torah. Topics he has taught in this field include: music, medicine, art, psychology, genetics, physics, law, education, economics and political science.

Sara Esther Crispe—

Sara Esther Crispe is the creator and editor of the women’s site www.TheJewishWoman.org, a project of  www.chabad.org where she is a featured writer. Additionally, she is a well-known lecturer and leading speaker of women’s issues. She has spoken across America, as well as Europe, Canada and South America. Known for her clear and direct approach, she is able to take current and provocative issues and make them meaningful and personal to audiences of various backgrounds. Sara Esther recently moved back to the States after living in Jerusalem for eight years where she and her husband were the directors of Torat Chesed: The Institute for Advanced Learning for Jewish Women. She has her BA from the University of California, San Diego in Literature/Writing and studied for her Master’s at Brooklyn College in Literary Theory where she was a lecturer of Composition. Sara Esther is currently working on a book celebrating gender difference according to Kabbalah. She lives with her husband and four beautiful children in Merion, PA.
